1st Round -- Packers pick: Derrek Sherrod LT
Do-Over: Justin Houston DE/OLB
The Packers are still trying to find consistent pass rush opposite Clay Matthews. Sherrod would probably be a much better player at this point in his career if not for a horrific leg injury. Houston has been to the Pro Bowl, and would have been a perfect complement for Matthews.
2nd Round -- Packers pick: Randall Cobb WR
Do-Over: Randall Cobb WR
This one doesn't need correcting. Cobb is the perfect pick here, and if he stays healthy, I'm expecting that he is going to light it up in 2014.
3rd Round -- Packers Pick: Alex Green HB
Do-Over: Jordan Cameron TE OR Julius Thomas TE
Alex Green was a total dud, and was released by the Packers last off-season. He was picked up by the Jets and failed to make any kind of impact. Now, with Jermichael Finley's issues with drops and now he serious neck injury, hindsight would dictate that the Packers draft another athletic, more reliable tight end.
4th Round -- Packers Pick: Davon House CB
Do-Over: Richard Sherman CB
It's sad that the Packers opted for House when the best cornerback in the game today was available in the next round. House seems to be on the verge of becoming a solid contributor for the Packers, but there's no doubt Ted Thompson wishes he could have a do-over on that one.
5th Round -- Packers Pick: DJ Williams TE
Do-Over: Denarius Moore WR
Packers supposedly got a great "value" pick in 2011 when they drafted DJ Williams in the 5th round. Too bad he never developed into a decent tight end in the NFL. Moore would have been a great pick up to ease the transition out of the Driver-Jennings-Jones era.
6th Round -- Caleb Schlauderaff OL
Do-Over: Chris Harris CB
Harris led the NFL in tackles for rookie DBs in 2011, and has continued to be a solid contributor on the Broncos. Schlauderaff? Eh, not a great pick.
6th Round -- DJ Smith LB
Do-Over: Sterling Moore CB
Moore is just starting to come into his own as a starting NFL corner on the Dallas Cowboys. He had a great first half against Green Bay in 2013. Smith was just starting to show some promise when he got injured and never regained his best form.
6th Round -- Ricky Elmore LB
Do-Over: Doug Baldwin WR
Elmore didn't even make the team in 2011. Baldwin went undrafted and immediately made an impact in Seattle.
7th Round -- Ryan Taylor TE
Do-Over: Ryan Taylor TE
Ryan Taylor is a special teams stud for the Pack. Plus, he actually has some ability as a pass catching tight end if injuries strike again (as they seem to every year).
7th Round -- Lawrence Guy DT
Do-over: Malcolm Smith LB
No one would know who Malcolm Smith was if not for his performance in the Super Bowl, but the Packers are a 3-4 team, and that means they need talented linebackers. Smith provides Green Bay with depth.
